Prayers for Peace

Prayers for Peace

In this world when you feel small and inconsequential when the larger dramas of the world are unfolding remember you have the power to influence the outcome with prayer.

Some people don’t believe in prayer although it has been scientifically proven that people do better medically when others, indeed strangers prayed for them. Dr. Larry Dossey produced evidence of this power in his book “Healing Words”.

Prayers are energy, and energy can never be destroyed, it can only change form.  Prayers are seen as globes of light as they transcend this world into the next where they are received. I write about this phenomenon in my novella “Lullaby in Heaven”.

Prayers do affect the outcome of this world.  There are people who devote their lives to prayer, a noble venture. There may always be strife on earth, it is the nature of humanity at this time, it is that simple, but maybe if we all take a moment to elevate our thoughts, send out positive energy, and believe in a better world one day it will become our reality.  It is certainly worth the effort.

So many times my prayers ask for the strength to be positive each day so I can be there to help others. It’s a start in the right direction…
